Wanted: s10 solid axle conversion info wanted in Lingan, Nova Scotia

Hi,i've been thinking of doing the jeep yj solid axle swap on my 93 s10 blazer now that it's semi retired.I'm not going to build a hard core offf roader but rather a on road off road toy.Yes i want to drive it on the street.I plan on doing the swap myself and need to know what i need to do to still drive it on the street.Do i have to get a mechanical fit test?Reconstructed papers?Can you buy the conversion crossmember/shackle kit in Canada?I'm going to leave the powertrain stock for now but may put a v8 in later.I'm going to put a spring over axle kit in and run a 33 or 35" tire.thanks.
